Thank you for visiting Cameron-Highlands.my website. The purpose of this site is to provide the most comprehensive information available about this cuti-cuti Malaysia Cameron Highlands resort for your travel destination holiday getaway planning.
Of course there are many Malaysia highlands but this is one of my favourite cool weather highlands. And judging from the many "miss this place" comments in the Facebook page, I should say this is one of the favourite highlands in Malaysia. Never mind Cameron Highlands has only 300,000 visitors in a year, which is less than the million visitors per year of Genting Highlands.
Cameron Highlands is the place where you can relax and sooth your tired eyes on the rolling greens of tea plantation and hillscapes, a little bit of English and mock-Tudor architecture clustered with mish-mash of local boring box like architecture. Well that's how Malaysian town planning goes.
Building this website has its ups and downs but hopefully it would be mostly ups, as in more and more website traffic visitors looking for helpful information about Cameron Highlands.
Why Cameron Highlands?
I am tourist like you too, and have frequent Cameron Highlands ever since I started working long time ago. Those days internet was still unheard off, and I didn't have much travel information to help me around. So you know I'm pretty much not so young anymore, heh, heh. And lately internet has become a good vehicle for providing information and at the same time was a chance to showcase my writing and photography skill.
It is not easy going up year after year snapping photos and taking down notes to create such an extensive articles and information about this beautiful highland. As such I do hope you respect the copyright notice and do not make any copies and plagiarism without checking with me first. If you really love the highlands and want to create your own website and blog, bring along your trusty camera, a notebook and do your own research. You will find it is pretty hard work.
So what keeps me going? Passion! Love the holiday, love the place and hopefully get a bit of odd jobs along the way to fund for running the website. And eventually go about it full time if at all possible.
